She is an applied developmental specialist, a certified pediatric sleep consultant and behavior specialist residing in Sherman Oaks, CA. She has worked with children throughout her career using knowledge, observations, evidence-based practice and research regarding human development to help solve real world problems. Her solutions are all evidence-based and aligned with high quality scholarly standards and guidelines.

Her interest in sleep blossomed as she began working closely with infant, toddler, preschool and kindergarten families and educators. She was especially drawn to the importance of sleep from the whole-child perspective by closely evaluating the child’s social-emotional, physical and cognitive health development. It was here she noticed that while new parents and educators were given information on safety, general health and best practices they were offered very little education on the science behind sleep, one of our most basic necessities that has a domino effect on the behavior in children.

It is in this niche that she repeatedly witnessed the far-reaching issues lack of sleep will create for children, their families and educators. Hence, Arpine saw the need for the addition of quality sleep education to the overall best practice guidelines for families and educators.

Arpine takes great pride in having helped hundreds of exhausted and frustrated families around the globe solve their child’s sleep and behavioral challenges.

As a result, Family Pediatric Sleep Solutions was created to serve local families, school districts and community agencies, which has now grown to help families around the world get the sleep they need.

Arpine is a proud Bruin! She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Women & Health and Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA and a Master’s degree in Human Development with a concentration in Education leadership and undergraduate teaching.
